Picking up from the previous article, there were two more Ukrainian designers whose work I came to appreciate, the more time I spent at the showroom, going through their collections. Theo‘s aw16 collection uses masculine tailoring and oversized designs which give you the feeling that you are wearing a man’s outfit which is two sizes too big for you, yet somehow it fits.
Omelya’s collection gives me bondage and S&M vibes. And no, I am not an expert in that field but you know what I mean. The amount of leather, feathers and belting going on with his pieces does make one feel a bit like a dominatrix. Besides, who doesn’t love to call the shots once in a while?
