London Fashion Week is over and my feet couldn’t be more grateful for that. Don’t get me wrong, I wear heels from time to time but not for five days in a row, for an average of 12 hours a day, switching from a stiletto to a chunky heel then back. That kind of stress takes its toll on your feet. So you can imagine I was delighted to come across these faux fur sliders from Russell & Bromley that manage to provide height, comfort and warmth, all in one shoe. It’s a bit like going out of your house in slippers, except you just keep going past the driveway or your apartment until you are literally smack dab in the centre of a busy city, feeling snug as a pug in an Ugg, except these are, of course … sliders.
