Natalya and I shot these images in the hallway of the St. Regis Moscow Nikolskaya, where I was staying, while I was in Moscow, last week. I went there to “discover” Russian designers – not that any of them need discovering. There is already an amazing set of Russian (and Ukrainian) designers out there, some aren’t as known in Western Europe as much as the likes of Gosha Rubchinsky and Vika Gazinskaya. So when I saw this sequin dress on Lena Perminova, on her Instagram page, I knew I had to add Kalmanovich to my list of designers to visit while in Moscow. I am not one to wear sequins but this dress really caught my attention and for that reason, I would like to send you over to @kalmanovich_studio‘s Instagram for more.
