Mayfair is my favourite area in London because of all the luxury brands that run down Bond Street, all the way down to Piccadilly. Yesterday I went to meet a friend and, as usual, went in and out of the small alley streets to avoid the crowds of tourists and people leaving work. To my surprise, I bumped into a teeny chihuahua named Maple who was walking – well carried in a purse – by her owner. I really want a dog (a French bulldog to be precise) but that’s not going to happen for a while. Work, travel and other commitments for now mean I have to be content in playing with strangers’ dogs. Oh well, not a bad substitute for the time being.
