What I’ve been seeing a lot of lately, perhaps thanks to the popularity of Gucci‘s graphic t-shirts, is a rise in t-shirts emblazoned with our favourite celebrities (past & present) as well as cult TV shows – think Strangers Things. What I will tell you about this trend is that the best tees, in my opinion, are in the men’s section. I personally am not a fan of what they offer in the women’s department. I find it repetitive when I see yet another woman’s t-shirt with a French word such as “Amour” or the phrase “Je t’aime“. And don’t get me started on the ‘We Should All Be Feminists” tees that every brand from the high-street to high-end stores sold this past summer.
Anyways, I thought I would share with you some of my favourite t-shirts, mostly featuring celebrities, which you can style with your leggings, mom jeans or however your heart desires this winter. I found this Outkast t-shirt in the men’s section of Urban Outfitters. I have my eye on a Tupac t-shirt and a Cher one to add to my collection this season but for now, I am also trying to not overwhelm my closet with even more clothes.
