In the past, I found myself wondering why I have never owned anything silver besides jewellery ? Well, the answer is pretty simple: done wrong, silver can make you look like you landed from outer space. And trust me, I see plenty of that still going on to this very day. I did finally break the mould when I got my first pair of silver brogues from Office Shoes. Not too shiny, they compliment an all-black outfit very well.
I am sure some of you are braver than I am and already have some silver or metallic pieces in your wardrobe, be they shoes, a dress or even a jacket. But for those of you who have yet to test the waters, I thought I would put together some items that caught my eye.
