Los Angeles is one of my favourite cities and I always look forward to any opportunity to go there. What better timing than to go there with & Other Stories for the launch of their LA atelier? I’ve been a fan of & Other Stories since it came to London, so when I was invited to come to LA and style looks for their atelier, I could not pass up on the opportunity.
Originating in Sweden, the Scandanavian atelier is all about minimalism and over-sized shapes. The French atelier has a more feminine vibe to it while the new LA atelier takes inspiration from the multitude of stylish individuals in its city. There is not one unified look with the LA atelier, I find, but a combination of several which, somehow, work to give you an idea of what the LA aesthetic is all about. It is laid back but also sexy, with a few sporty elements mixed in there as well. So, when I had the opportunity to style five look from the new collection, I went for the following:
